According to the standards and requirements of quality of drinking water stipulated in Decree-Law no. 46/96/M “Regulations on Water Supply and Drainage in Macao”, sampling inspection of drinking water is carried out rigorously while results of water quality are assessed and analysed.

       

        When drinking water is found to be contaminated or potential contamination threatening the safety of water appears, relevant government departments and entities are notified immediately in order to take appropriate emergency measures and handle the situation promptly so as to safeguard the health of the public.
