Avenida do Conselheiro Borja
Avenida do Conselheiro Borja is a straight road of 806 metres long and varies from 10 metres to 14 metres in width. It begins at the intersection of Avenida do Almirante Lacerda and Avenida de Artur Tamagnini Barbosa in the east and extends to Estrada Marginal da Ilha Verde in the west. It is a traffic artery connecting the urban districts of Macao to Ilha Verde and was one of the industrial areas of early Macao, being populated by industrial buildings by then. The Macao (Yut Yuen) Canidrome, Lin Fong Sports Centre, Edf. Da Ming Court and the Municipal Market Complex of Tamagnini Barbosa are located on this street. There are many schools, crèches and homes for the aged on Avenida do Conselheiro Borja, namely the Ilha Verde Retreat House, the Missionaries of Charity Crèche, Escola Secundária Ilha Verde da Associação Comercial de Macau and Escola de Santa Teresa.
