Rua Direita Carlos Eugénio
Rua Direita Carlos Eugénio begins at Rua Fernão Mendes Pinto in the northeast and ends at the intersection of Rua do Cunha and Rua Correia da Silva in the southwest.
To the right of the northern end of the street is the site of Iec Long Firecracker Factory, one of the sizable firecracker factories in Macao in the old days. Heading south from Iec Long, the I Leng Temple is seen on the left side of the street. It was formerly the Ka Sin Tong Charitable Society, officially founded on 30 December 1899 upon approval by the Portuguese government of Macao and was transformed into a temple over the decades. The rosy-walled and 2-storey building of Panda Portuguese Restaurant is located only a few steps beyond the intersection of Rua Direita Carlos Eugénio, Rua Do Delegado and Calçada Do Quartel. Facing the restaurant is a small temple dedicated to Kun Iam. The Carmo Fair is one of the major structures of Rua Direita Carlos Eugénio and a landmark of the old downtown of Taipa. It is characterized by a blend of Chinese and Western architectural features.
