Second batch of fresh and live food arrives in Macao and increased supply amount ensures abundant supply on market

To ensure the stable supply of fresh and live food in Macao, the second batch of fresh and live food successively arrived in Macao at 3:00 p.m. with the active support and coordination of the Gongbei Customs District of the People’s Republic of China and both Nam Yue (Group) Co. Ltd. and Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited. The supply amount will be increased to about 300 tonnes of vegetables, about 150 tonnes of fruit, 700,000 eggs and 380 live pigs tomorrow.

    IAM stresses that the pandemic prevention work does not affect the supply of fresh and live food in Macao. Both Nam Yue (Group) Co. Ltd. and Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited have actively coordinated with IAM. In particular, Nam Yue (Group) Co. Ltd. has increased the amount of fresh and live food supplied to Macao daily, and the source of supply is stable and abundant.

About 272 tonnes of vegetables, about 130 tonnes of fruit, 632,000 eggs and 340 live pigs were supplied to Macao today. The amount will be increased to about 300 tonnes of vegetables, about 150 tonnes of fruit, 700,000 eggs and about 380 live pigs tomorrow.
